Extremely professional. The owner takes great pride in his business and it shows. We had our roof replaced and a new roof vent and cooktop vent installed. Price was very competitive. Crew was friendly and professional. Job took 3 days. The crew cleaned up after themselves every day which we really appreciated as we were concerned about nails on the ground with children and a dog. The owner followed up to confirm our satisfaction. Would recommend Tops Roofing and Remodeling without hesitation.

Tops roofing did a great job replacing my roof. They found issues with rotted plywood and gave me options and pricing to fix the issue. They also noticed my bathroom vent wasn’t properly venting through the roof and fixed that issue as well. The workers were professional and cleaned up after themselves, including cleaning up a pile of leaves we had on the back patio, without us asking them to do it.

Tops Roofing and remodeling has been our “go to” company for roof and siding work since around 2005. The original job was the replacement of both the roof and siding replacement on our home. They also did extensive work on my parent’s home and some work at my wife’s parent’s home since then. We originally selected Tops out of roughly 6 proposals because Tom was the only person who actually went onto the roof to do a thorough evaluation of what was needed (As well as you can without removing materials) and also was quick to explain why some things I was requesting should not be done. When requested multiple proposals were given using different types and quality of materials. The quality of their work has consistently been very good. His people have been professional, respectful, and courteous. They just finished replacing our garage roof after the recent high winds and everything was done well and the job site cleaned up. There was not a single stray nail or piece of debris to be found. It is very difficult to leave a job site THAT clean and I normally expect to find a few stray items.

Has there ever been a hiccup or two? Of course. Construction jobs on older structures rarely go perfectly without any issues. Items like vendors sending the wrong materials happen. A 65+ year old garage being a bit out of square happens. Changes or adjustments sometimes have to be made on the fly. But whenever those few issues have popped up, Tops / Tom has been responsive, fair, and quick to work with us to resolve the problem and get the job done.

We remain extremely satisfied with Tops Roofing and Remodeling. We will use them again for our own needs and will continue to recommend them to others. I should add that I am employed in a service business, so I can truly appreciate a job well done and good service.

Tom and his crew were professional throughout the process. From the start Tom was always in communication with us and talked us through everything when they found unexpected damage on the roof. The crew was polite and worked well past 7pm to finish the job. Thank you for everything.

I recently hired Tops Roofing & Remodeling to replace the roof on my mother’s house in Erie, PA. She applied for financing which first required Tops to jump through a few hurdles to qualify as a contractor for that financing. Tom was thoroughly responsive to those requests for information from the lender and did so in a timely manner. During the roof installation, Tom stayed in contact with me by phone to provide daily progress updates and scope of work updates. Since I live out of town, the communication provided during this entire process was absolutely necessary for me to get this done. I needed a contractor who I could communicate with and trust that things were getting done the way we agreed to and thankfully that company is Tops Roofing and Remodel. We also appreciated the respect and professionalism of the crew and are happy with the finished product.
